报告人简介：

曹文平，教授，博士，博士生导师，安徽大学电气工程与自动化学院特聘教授。1991年获得北京交通大学电力牵引传动控制专业工学学士学位，2004年获得英国诺丁汉大学电机与驱动专业博士学位。先后在英国谢菲尔德大学、诺丁汉大学、纽卡斯尔大学、女王大学和美国麻省理工学院工作。主要从事新型电机设计、电机驱动系统热损耗分析、故障诊断和状况检测，开发出多项世界领先的精密测量、故障诊断及效能改进的方法和设备。他是欧盟玛丽居里学者，英国皇家学会沃夫森学者, IEEE高级会员及IET会士。曹教授入选2020年安徽省重点人才计划。

报告摘要：

This talk is concerned with electrical machine faults, failure, and condition monitoring technologies. It will start with a basic knowledge of condition monitoring technologies, followed by the failures and causes of major electrical machines including electrical, thermal, mechanical and environmental ageing. Generally, condition monitoring systems consist of: 1) sensors to capture the signal or the state of the condition, 2) network and data to collect and process the information; 3) retrieval of key parameters and fault signatures, and 4) actions to respond to the estimated conditions. Finally, parametric Identification techniques will be discussed to conclude the talk. Discussions are welcome.
